Everyone is in this one
Family photos tend to stay in albums or on phones. With Revelo, your family photo becomes a portrait made of letters, and a line from each person is hidden in between: Grandma's blessing, the first words the kids ever wrote, a cousin who lives far away. On the wall it's a family portrait; inside it, everyone's voice.
How it works
- Choose a photo. A family photo with everyone's face clear. Pick a larger size for big groups.
- Collect everyone's notes. Share one link in the family chat, or start from the ready-made "Family" notes like "Our noisy dinner table is my favorite place in the world."
- The notes are hidden in the portrait. Each sentence runs on among the letters.
- Print and paint together. As the marked squares are painted, your family portrait appears.
Design your family portrait
Paint it together
Spread the print on the table at a holiday or a reunion and let everyone paint a few squares: the kids take the edges, the grown-ups take the faces. The portrait appears little by little, and the notes are found one by one. Finishing it together is part of the gift.
What to write
- One line from each family member
- A family saying or running joke
- A blessing or advice from the elders
- A welcome for whoever joined the family most recently
