For dads who say little and mean a lot
Some dads don't talk much, yet every word they say sticks for years. With Revelo, his photo becomes a portrait made of letters, and the things you never said to him are hidden in between. On the wall it's a quiet portrait. Inside it is a whole childhood.
How it works
- Choose a photo. One where his face is clear: a recent one, an old one, or him holding you as a baby.
- Write the notes. Write your own or start from the ready-made "For Dad" notes, like "You taught me to ride a bike and to get back up. Same lesson."
- The notes are hidden in the portrait. Each sentence runs on among the letters.
- Print and paint. As the marked squares are painted, his portrait appears.
Design Dad's portrait
His words, and yours
You don't have to write only thank-yous. Add the things he used to say that still ring in your head: "Measure twice, cut once." "Get some sleep, it'll look better in the morning." Finding his own words inside the portrait is often the part that surprises him most.
What to write
- A skill he taught you: riding a bike, fishing, driving
- A piece of advice you still repeat
- A road trip, a game, a Saturday morning ritual
- One line from each grandchild
