The thank-yous that never got said
Thanking Mom is hard; the sentence usually stops halfway. With Revelo, her photo becomes a portrait made entirely of letters, and your words are woven in between them. From across the room it is simply a portrait of her. Up close, it says everything you never quite managed to say.
How it works
- Choose a photo. Any photo where her face is clear, from today or from when she was your age.
- Write or collect the notes. Write your own, pick from the ready-made "For Mom" notes, or collect them from the family with one link. The pack includes notes like "Mom, you made every house we lived in feel like home."
- The notes are hidden in the portrait. Each sentence runs on among the letters; nobody notices them from afar.
- Print and paint. As the marked squares are painted, her portrait appears.

A gift from the whole family
You don't have to make it alone. Brothers, sisters, grandchildren and old friends can each add a line. For a big family's notes, A1 (23.4 × 33.1 in) or 70 × 100 cm leaves more room.
What to write
- A memory from childhood: a meal, a song, a piece of advice
- Something she taught you that you still do
- A sacrifice you never thanked her for
- One short line from each grandchild
