Every grandchild, in one portrait
Grandparents keep everything: the drawings, the cards, the school photos. Give them something that holds all of it at once. Their photo becomes a portrait made of letters, and a note from every grandchild is hidden in between.
How it works
- Choose a photo. Grandma, Grandpa or both, with clear faces. An old favorite works too.
- Collect the grandkids' notes. Share one link with the family, or start from the ready-made notes like "Grandma, your house always smelled like something good was about to happen."
- The notes are hidden in the portrait. Each sentence runs on among the letters.
- Print and paint. As the marked squares are painted, the portrait appears; the grandkids can help paint it.

Easy to read, easy to keep
The notes are hidden among the letters on the wall, and each one can also be read as its own card on the private gift page. If screens aren't their thing, print the note cards and tuck them in with the portrait.
What to write
- A favorite memory from their house
- A recipe, a story or a saying of theirs
- What you learned from them
- One line from every grandchild, big or small
