Notes to read when they're older
A newborn can't read the notes yet. But the portrait on their nursery wall will start whispering to them the day they learn to read. With Revelo, the baby's photo becomes a portrait made of letters, and the first words from Mom, Dad, grandparents and friends are hidden in between.
How it works
- Choose a photo. A close-up where the baby's face is clear.
- Collect the family's notes. Share one link in the family group so everyone can write to the baby, or pick from the ready-made "New baby" notes like "We counted the days until we could meet you."
- The notes are hidden in the portrait. Each sentence runs on among the letters.
- Print and paint. As the marked squares are painted, the baby's portrait appears. Painting it together in the first weeks makes a lovely family moment.
Design the baby's portrait
As a baby shower or birth gift
A friend just had a baby? Instead of one more outfit, collect notes from your friend group and give a portrait. Ask the parents for a photo and share the collection link with friends. For a big group, A1 (23.4 × 33.1 in) or 70 × 100 cm gives more room.
What to write
- The day, time and city they were born
- What you felt when you first saw them
- A piece of advice for when they're older
- Why their name was chosen
