The whole class, in one portrait
Most class gifts are forgotten by summer. This one has every student inside it. The teacher's photo becomes a portrait made of letters, and each student's note and name is hidden among them. Painting can become a class activity, too: bring the print in and let every student paint a few squares until the portrait appears.
How it works
- Choose a photo. A well-lit photo where the teacher's face is clear.
- Collect the notes. Share one link with the class parents so every student can add a sentence and their name. You can also pick from the ready-made "For a teacher" notes, like "You saw something in me before I saw it myself."
- The notes are hidden in the portrait. Each sentence runs on among the letters.
- Print and paint. As the marked squares are painted, the teacher's portrait appears.
Design a class gift
Notes they can read again and again
The artwork comes with a private gift page where each note is read as its own card. Print the QR code and stick it on the back of the portrait, or share the link in a card. Finding who wrote which line becomes the second surprise.
Which size?
The size sets how many letters and squares the artwork has. For a whole class's notes and for painting together, A1 (23.4 × 33.1 in) or 70 × 100 cm is the comfortable choice. For a gift from one student, 50 × 70 cm is enough.
